The UK HSE has launched a call for evidence on per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in firefighting foams (closes 3 June 2024). This is the start of the process to prepare an Annex 15 restriction dossier. It will be interesting to see whether there will be consistency between the UK and the EU on this topic. The EU restriction process for PFAS in firefighting foams is already well advanced.
