Rachel is a Principal Consultant and Team Leader with extensive experience in chemical and biocides regulation across the UK and EU. She is a regulatory chemistry specialist with in-depth expertise in REACH, CLP and the Biocidal Products Regulation (BPR), and has supported clients across a wide range of chemical sectors.

Rachel is responsible for the management and delivery of complex regulatory projects, including the preparation and update of REACH registration dossiers, support during authority evaluation processes, and strategic regulatory planning to help companies meet their compliance obligations. Her work includes leading large, multi-substance REACH projects, managing dossier updates following ECHA compliance checks and substance evaluations, and acting as dossier manager for EU and GB biocidal product authorisation submissions. She has particular expertise in UK REACH, including grandfathering, downstream user notifications, and new registration of existing substances (NRES) and regularly liaises with regulatory authorities on complex or ambiguous regulatory issues.

As Team Leader, Rachel oversees the company’s largest and most diverse team, combining technical leadership with a strong focus on project management, communication and collaboration.  

Rachel graduated top of her class from the University of Edinburgh with a First Class MChem degree in Chemistry. During her studies, she gained industrial experience in analytical development for pharmaceutical intermediates and active ingredients. She is a chemist by training and brings a pragmatic, detail-focused approach to regulatory compliance.
