Evila is an environmental toxicologist and regulatory scientist with a strong academic foundation and nearly three years of recent hands-on experience supporting GLP environmental fate studies for agrochemicals. Since joining Blue Frog Scientific in May 2026, Evila has contributed to a wide range of scientific and regulatory activities, with expertise in OECD-compliant ecotoxicology, GLP environmental fate and effects data, and regulatory reporting.
Evila holds a PhD from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and an MSc from the Federal University of Ceará, Brazil. Academic expertise includes aquatic and marine ecotoxicology, mixtures toxicity, metal bioaccumulation, toxicokinetics, genotoxicity, and the application of metabolomic and metagenomic tools to environmental risk assessment.
Evila brings substantial practical experience in the design, execution, interpretation, and reporting of aquatic ecotoxicology and environmental fate studies to meet regulatory requirements, including OECD guidelines such as 236, 307, and 501. Previous roles involved direct participation in GLP studies for agrochemical registration, critical evaluation of complex datasets, and the translation of scientific findings into clear, regulator-ready conclusions for clients and authorities.
