The Scientific Committee on Consumer Safety have indicated that specific Nano guidance for these products will be adopted in June 2019. It was emphasised that it is the responsability of the applicant to ensure they are aligned with the new guidance, and must update there information accordingly.
Further discussions were had on risk assessments and it was noted that "(internal) TTC – Threshold of Toxicological Concern - and ab initio risk assessment, together with the case study on parabens should be deeper discussed."
