Kai Paul becomes part of the Steering Committee for the SETAC Nanotechnology Interest Group

11 Jun 2019

Blue Frog's Dr. Kai Paul was honoured to recently become part of the SETAC Nanotechnology Interest Group (Nano IG) Steering Committee.  The group is part of the wider efforts made by the Society of Environmental Toxicology & Chemistry.

This Nano IG is dedicated to investigation of environmental aspects of nanomaterials technology, ranging from toxicology and chemistry to life cycle and risk assessment; work streams focus on nanomaterial definition and characterization, environmental fate and behaviour, toxicokinetics and bioaccumulation, ecotoxicology, and risk assessment frameworks.

As part of the steering committee Kai will help the group and society strive towards the key goals of these investigations giving an industry/regulatory perspective, and will help in ensuring the science is communicated at relevant conferences, bolstering participation and meeting organisation.

If you want to know more about our nano-capabilities for regulatory compliance and scientific consultancy or if you want to know more about how you can get involved with the Nano IG, please do not hesitate to contact me.
