Consultant/Senior Consultant - Ecotoxicology
The successful candidate will conduct consultancy activities related to regulatory ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment, as well as providing support across the portfolio of projects running within the Company.
Consultant Duties:

The Consultant will primarily operate under the Environmental Safety Team with a secondary role under the Specialist Services Team working predominantly under the EU and UK REACH Regulations

The Consultant will support environmental and nanomaterial projects and take responsibility for understanding current environmental and nanomaterial registration requirements under EU and UK REACH Regulations

The Consultant will conduct environmental hazard and risk assessments

The Consultant will compile the environmental sections of technical dossiers

The Consultant will be responsible for the successful management and delivery of technical projects

The Consultant will be responsible for ensuring that Blue Frog Scientific is producing regulatory advice and deliverables based on the most current scientific principles and regulatory requirements in their area(s) of expertise
Skills Required:

Degree educated or higher

2+ years relevant experience

A keen eye for detail

A demonstrable track record in ecotoxicology and environmental risk assessment

A working knowledge of the EU and/or UK REACH Regulation

Experience in the compilation the of regulatory dossiers

Experience in developing testing strategies and study monitoring

Technical and/or regulatory experience for nanomaterials/nanoforms
-
Experience working in regulatory affairs for biocides is also desirable, but not essential
